Genesis is one of the artists among five artists who have been selected to join the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011, it has been declared on December 14. The artists are The honorees are pop metal band Alice Cooper, gravelly-voiced songwriter Tom Waits, New Orleans' Dr. John, former singer with The Crystals Darlene Love, and hitmaker Neil Diamond. Musicians become entitled for the Rock Hall of Fame 25 years after the launch of their first record. The voting body contains 500 music professionals. The induction ceremony for 2011 is going to take place at at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York on March 14 and be telecast on Fuse
